All birds like peackocks,parrots and ostriches have tails as well. So do lizards and scorpions. Tails comes in all shapes and sizes and are used for different things. The cow has a long tail which is bushy at the end to Swish off flies and other insects. Dog’s tails very in length, shape and size depending on the bread. Dogs wag their tails to show pleasure but , when frighten they put their tails between their legs. The monkey’s tail is long and slender. It uses it to keep balance and to swing branch to branch. The peacock spreads out its long , do you know that once man also had a tail ? This became shorter and shorter till it disappeared because man did not use it.
